About Linda the Curtain Lady
A long long time ago in a small town in Central Queensland, there was a girl who grew up in a family all about curtains. Her grandmother made curtains and cushions and was always making clothes. Her mother made curtains too, and so she learnt to sew herself at a young age on her very own Janome sewing machine.
One day, she worked in her mothers curtain shop on a Saturday morning, when she was just 12 years old. And there it started.
That young girl was me! After leaving school to run the family curtain business at the age of 16, I found that I loved soft furnishings, and making and selling curtains was something that I not only loved but was really good at it! It was in my blood, and there was no looking back.
Over the past 30 plus years I have seen a huge amount of change in the Curtain and Blind business. I have gained experience in all aspects of this amazing industry, and you will not find anyone else more qualified or dedicated to delivering a high-quality product to decorate and beautify your home.
I have worked in the retail Residential environment most of my life, whilst also having had experience in the commercial sector. This means i have the ability to cater to all types of clients. Interior decorators, commercial and wholesale clients are most welcome.
